... AND A MYSTERY ACT.. TICKETS HERE
Over the past ten years we have brought together a wealth of versatile artists and built a loyal following.
Hazy Recollections began primaraly as a way to promote Findlay Napier & The Bar Room Mountaineers. Either we were to folky for the indie crowd or to indie for the folk crowd. I suppose it sprung from an 'if you build it they will come' attitude.
Our first Hazy was held in Stereo, Glasgow and featured Pearl and the Puppets, Brother Louis Collective (soon to become Admiral Fallow), FN&BRM, Kitty the Lion (now known as Blood Relatives), AJ Roach and Captain and the Kings. In the past we've taken Hazy north to Southern Fried Festival, Perth and relocated from our ABC home (just aong the street) to the CCA for the Glasgow Americana Festival. I've tried to make a list of everyone that has played Hazy Recollections. Email me if you spot any ommissions.
WHAT IS HAZY?
Usually doors open at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. There are five acts (bands, duos, trios, solo acts...) The first takes the stage at 2:30pm and the last leaves the stage at 5pm. Each act is given a proper introduction. The audience listens politely, buys merchandise and sings along enthusiastically.
